Considering you have the light pollution it is still easy to see the Milky Way. Are you pleased with the new camera? I guess it is good to have the live view.

Hi Jan, I am very pleased with my new camera. After I took this image I dropped it 3 ft onto a concrete patio and it still works well. The live view feature is very useful, but when I use the camera without a telescope I just focus the lens on infinity beforehand. David
