That's a very nice image David, It shows how large M31 is is you need to use a focal reducer with a DSLR.

Yes the galaxy filled almost the whole frame, just a bit trimmed from right and bottom for the final image. Good luck with your new 80mm refractor. David

I particularly like this one. To get 2 minute exposures on the Canon 400D did you use "bulb"?
