Description : The central line in the star pattern moves as the focus changes, for perfect focus it should be exactly between the two diagonal lines.

Is this like using a Hartmann mask? I have never heard of a Bahnitov mask. What is the star that you have focussed on?

Yes, it's like a Hartmann mask but more complex to make. I'll bring one along on Thursday. You focus by getting the central spike between the two angled ones.
