That is a really nice image David. Which Canon lens did you use. What was the exposure time, and ISO setting, and was it more than one image that was stacked and processed please? Excellent detail on the moon also.

Hi Jan, I used my Canon EF 70 – 300 zoom and found that 110mm was just right to cover the targets. I took a number of exposures but used 3 1/500, ISO 100 for the moon, 2.5” at ISO 100 for the moon glow and Mars, and 4” at ISO 400 for M44. (all at f5.6). Images combined using Photoshop levels. David
