Nice picture. I think daylight astronomy needs more attention. Have you considered the use of a red filter to cut out a lot of the blue? Ed.

It certainly is nice doing astronomy in the sunshine. Perhaps I will invest in some coloured filters one day. The image was just a ‘snap’ taken with the camera’s zoom and autofocus, so I thought I would leave the sky blue.
