Bricklayers - look away now!
This is the pier I've been building for my NS11 GPS.

Description : It's made with a concrete block below the surface and reinforcing rods through the concrete and the holes into the bricks, then threaded rods for the wedge plate on top.
Next is to fit a mounting plate and wedge on top, then polar align by tilting the plate.

It does not matter what it looks like as long as it is strong and does the job. Looking forward to seeing the end result
